A resident of Saratoga Springs, New York, Dr. Damon Deteso has built a long career in diagnostic imaging. Certified in radiology by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Damon Deteso has spent the majority of his professional life (22 years) with Millennium Medical Imaging PC, delivering imaging interpretation services across five regional hospitals. His daily work includes CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and X-ray studies, supporting emergency care centers and outpatient clinics.
Dr. Damon Deteso is also interested in healthcare innovation, particularly the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in radiology. From 2020 to 2023, he served as a medical advisor to Imagen Technologies and worked on training AI systems to detect pathologies in X-rays. The tools would assist radiologists in clinical decision-making.
Dr. Damon Deteso is a member of the American College of Radiology and presented before the Radiological Society of North America. He earned a physics degree from the College of the Holy Cross and an MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His medical training includes a fellowship in cross-sectional imaging at the University of California, San Francisco’s San Francisco General Hospital. There, he developed advanced skills in CT, MRI, and ultrasound. Before that, he served as chief resident during his radiology residency at Tufts University School of Medicine.
